We’re living in a time where everything feels different. Folks can’t afford much, job layoffs are on the rise, and people are struggling more than ever. It’s tough to figure out where to get the real scoop on what’s happening because the truth is, nobody really knows what’s going on. The best way to gauge what’s happening is to look at our own communities. What’s going on in your own backyard? That’s where it matters most because it’s where you can make a difference.
We have to be careful about worrying over things we can’t control. What can we control? We can become involved in our local and state General Jural Assemblies. Like I’m a member of the Michigan General Jural Assembly, which gives us a way to make real changes locally and at the state level. When we get at least 38 states together, we can start having real oversight over Washington, D.C. That’s how we can push out those bar attorneys and lawyers holding office unconstitutionally. That’s when we take our country back. It might sound repetitive, but this is what needs to be done.
What else is within our control? Do things that bring you peace. Even if you’re not big on Jesus, pick up a Bible and read it. Learn from it, not necessarily to become a Christian, but to understand real history and where common law comes from, like in Deuteronomy. The book of Proverbs offers wisdom for everyday life. There’s more solid information in the Bible than in any school textbook.
Ask yourself, what can I control? Focus on what you can change positively. Discard anything else you can’t verify or control as garbage. Why clutter your mind with it? It’s silly. When I started this podcast, it was to serve God’s people and God. I want to help bring you back to basics and keep you grounded. I aim to be the resource you turn to when everything else is deceiving you.
To better serve you, I’m aiming to keep these podcasts around 40 to 50 minutes. This way, you can listen on your commute or during a workout and finish it in one go. I’ve strayed a bit from my calling, but it’s time to get back to the basics. We need to reclaim our minds. Stop letting the mainstream media and fear-mongering podcasters fill your head with nonsense.
Think about what you can control. You can turn off your TV. You can filter your social media feed. Write in a journal, document how you feel, what you’re grateful for, your prayers, and your goals. People often forget their dreams and purposes because they’re caught up in what’s happening in the world.
I’ve been there too, forgetting my own goals amidst the noise. But my aim is to achieve the true American dream of sovereignty and real freedom. I want to see my fellow Americans achieve the same, living in a country free from endless taxation and hyperinflation, with a small, limited government. I want peace and prosperity for America, and we can achieve this by focusing on what’s right and taking control of our minds.
Biblically, we are called to focus on what’s within our control and trust God with the rest. As Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” This is our call to reclaim our peace and minds through God’s wisdom and guidance.
By keeping our focus on what we can control, and grounding ourselves in faith and community, we are better able to maneuver in these challenging times and come out stronger. We gotta get back to basics and take back our minds and lives.
